The Goal

In search of energy efficiency, soundproof, structural integrity, high-end features, low maintenance and low maintenance features, wanted 10 ft. ceilings, 8 ft. doors, theatre room, large master bathroom w/ large walk-in closet, unfinished basement, a lot of tile in the home, wanted to protect himself in case he ever lost power (whole-house generator), LED lighting throughout, whole-house water filtration system.

Looking for the ultimate in energy efficiency, structural integrity, and comfort. Since it will be their permanent and last home they live in, it should require very minimal maintenance. Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, along with white cabinets, trey ceilings, and a custom LED coffered ceiling all add a very contemporary feeling to this home. 10 ft. ceilings and 8 ft.  doors were also used to add extra space to this open floor plan.
